Established in 2002, the Rhode Island Young Professionals (RIYP) is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization dedicated to the betterment of our members and the communities in which we live, work and serve. We actively work to provide our members with exclusive networking activities, workshops, and resources that foster their personal and professional development, while at the same time developing and implementing services, programs and projects to empower and enrich Rhode Island’s communities..

Our membership is comprimised of diverse young professional's age 21-40 who have a drive to not only develop themselves both personally and professionally, but also have the heart to serve and give back to the Rhode Island communities in which they work and live.

Each year RIYP hosts a plethora of Professional Development, Social & Cultural, and Community Service events for our members and other young professionals in the RI communities independently and in collaboration with our Urban League affiliate, our sponsors, and other like-minded organizations.
